➵ “All conformity to the world is a negation of our Christian character and a surrender of our heavenly position.” —A.W. Tozer

As Christians, we will not make the greatest impact on our generation by having the mind of the world. We will make the greatest impact by having our minds more like Christ. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.” (Romans 12:2) Some may try to make the Bible appear antiquated and outdated, but God says His Word is ETERNAL TRUTH. The media wants to bombard us with things that are contrary to God’s Word. They profane the name of God, make sex glamorized, laugh at high morals/godly standards, exalt sin, and they want us to believe that the best life is living like we please. “Whoever wants to be a friend of this world, makes himself an enemy towards God.” (James 4:4)

You will never know the will of God, the mind of Christ apart from His Word. When you allow God to be Lord over your life, He changes your heart and mind. It’s not about following a bunch of rules, but it is truly about freedom and living in His fullness/abundance. When you truly love Him, you will love the things He loves, and hate the things He hates. You won’t want to do the things that grieve His Spirit. When You find fulfillment in Him, you won’t look to the world with needy eyes.

I pray we be a generation that is completely sold out for Jesus Christ. I pray that we are unashamedly bold in our faith, and that doesn’t mean just wearing a Christian t-shirt or posting a beautiful Bible pic to our Instagram. I’m talking about really living for Him-turning from the things of this world and being set apart for His glory. I pray that we love others the way God calls us to, even if they don’t agree with the way we live. Let’s show others the love of Christ and make them wonder about this God we serve!!! ➵ #soulchaser
