Lean Into Father, Daddy

➵ When I was little, sometimes my dad would let me sit in his lap while he drove down the backroads in Ohio. I pretended I was driving with my tiny hands gently placed over his. When I got a little bit older, he would let me sit in the driver seat, while he held the steering wheel from the passenger side. Then, when I got older, he let me drive, all by myself.

Isn’t that like our Daddy in heaven? He is there to guide us, teach us, and help us along the way. He doesn’t just tell us to get in the car and drive. He shows us. He gently coaches us so that we might learn how to do it on our own. He is there to help us when we mess up and cheers us on when we get discouraged.

God may give you assignments you don’t know how to do, but you can do them when you add Him to the equation. He is not rooting for your failure, but rather for your success. He wants you to excel at His assignments. He wouldn’t give them to you if they were too much for you and Him together. He won’t be able to do a new thing for you if you haven’t learned the current thing. Let Him teach you. Lean into Father, “Daddy.” He will help you be victorious. ➵ 💕 #soulchaser
