Wait On God: Patiently And Expectantly

➵ When I was a little girl, I used to sit by the oven door and try to “wait patiently” for the cookies to get done. I would just peer through the glass, and think that somehow my desire for them would help them rise faster. It actually made the time pass by slower, but I was committed to being right there whenever they got done! I didn’t want to get distracted and have them over cooked. I liked my cookies moist and chewy!

This reminds me of life and how we are to wait on God patiently and expectantly. He is always working things out on our behalf even though it may not appear that way for a time. His ways are truly past our finding out! (Romans 11:33) We can always rest knowing that He is working ALL things together for your good! (Romans 8:28) Do you need me to say that again?! He says He is working ALL things out for our good, not some or a few, but all! He is always good for His word because that is one thing God can’t do-lie.

“But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation My God will hear me.” (Micah 7:7) God sees you precious one. He hears your prayers, even the ones you can’t utter. He is going to answer. The answer may not come in the way you expected, but His way will be far better than your way. Do your trust Him?! I want to encourage you to wait on Him expectantly! He will most surely deliver on every single one of His promises!!! Be on the lookout!! ➵ 💕 #soulchaser
